I am using PC with a configurations as follows:

    Processor :- Plantium-4, 1.8 GHz.
    Ram :- 512 MB

I do not have any antivirus installed and no internet connection. I do use Pen-drive to store external data. Do i required to upgrade my hardware system? I had installed a 5-6 programs which includes audio & video drivers, VLC video player and tuneup utility for resolving registry problem with total size of 500 MB. What should i do to increase the speed of my computer?

Its Pentium 4! And you need to upgrade your RAM to atleast 1GB for better performance. Your processor is also a bit old now.

If you do not have the money and you are using Windows just reinstall the OS. It should improve your PC performance.

It is recommended that you change the processor, ram as you are using pentium 4 and anything that you try to upgrade on your system will be either very expensive or not available in the market.

You need to upgrade your hardware. I suggest replace your processor with core to due and increase your ram. Install minimum 1 GB ram in your system. I hope your system gives you better performance as compare to present.

you may have to set your ram performance in windows. go to start> right click computer choose properties > advance system settings> in advanced, performance open settings > go to advance virtual memory click change > see recommended at bottom > put recommended mb in initial and max click set > done > faster pc performance.

    Hello,
There is no need to buy a new pc..Pentium 4 is not that bad..i am using P4 with speed of 2.8 Giga hertz..its pretty fast for all my needs..you need to remove that pc tune up utility ..there is no neeed for that..also turn automatic updates off..defragment your pc and use ccleaner to fix temporary files..

    Regards,
    Hashif
