hi everyone, when i log on to my paypal account, they said that my account was limited and now i can't send money. ill be going to verify my account next week since ill be having my credit card. i only complete the change of password and the security answer. i also complete the sending of my identification I.d or proof of address. it says there its - proof of address. i scan two valid i.d of mine which is the password and b.i.r which is bureau of internal revenue which is both goverment issued. i send my passport and my B.I.R id. which is my B.i.r has name and address. coz in my passport my address was not stated there but in my b.i.r its stated. i send the two valid i.d which is issued by out goverment here in the philippines. is my passport and b.i.r are acceptable ??? i don't have a utility i.d because im a student and my parents are the one who pay for it. but i have a valid passport who will expired next 2011 and my B.I.R that theres no expiration since its for business. am i doing the right thing??? i need your help. please let me know. thank you. im very much worried. i feel crying now. what how many hours should i wait that my account will go back before that i can receive and send money ????
With paypal the rules are different depending on which country you are in. When an account is limited you need to follow the instructions in paypal. You have changed your password and security answer, so thats the first step. They are asking for two forms of Identification as proof of address, normally they want utility bills. If you have submitted your passport and another form of government i.d you will have to wait for them to be processed. Depending on how you submitted the details, via fax or online depends on how long it takes. In general paypal are not always that fast at processing documents, and you could be having to wait a few days before they contact you again. So basically you just need to wait a bit until paypal contact you. Keep checking your account as sometimes the emails from paypal are filtered so you never get them.

In progress means it has been started but it has not been completed. With paypal that normally means that someone at account reviews has not looked at the documents yet. But they will get to id. Your passport is valid so thats not a problem.
okay, but it says there that they need utility bill but i don't have. so i send them passport and my b.i.r which is goverment issued and valid. this is the info i don't have utility bill coz im still a student. does my passport and b.i.r goverment issued will do??? b.i.r is national identity card... please clear out my mind coz i really dont know what to do

Send them your parents utility bill and if the last name and the address matches your address in your paypal account, it would certainly work. Then just leave a short remark to say you live with your parents and they pay the bills around the house.

ill ask my mom, hope that the paypal will allow me to do that..... ill ask my mom. i already pass my passport and my identity card. with address and full name. is it really okay if ill send my mom billing statement? we are in the same house.

ah okay, ill scan it to them.... i can't fax those things but i can send it to them through my paypal account in resolve center. is that ok? how many days my account will be back ? what if, if i will very my account now using debit card? will it be okay ?
Yes, scanning and uploading the documents would do the trick. As to the number of days it would take would depend how long the queue is and how long it takes to verify the documents you provided. You cannot use your Debit Card to verify your Paypal account, you must use a bank-issued credit card to do so.
what if, if ill send them an issued from my bank when i deposit of my debit card. is that will do too ? i think the passport, national identification card and my parents utility bank will be enough. ???
The National Identification Card and Utility Bill should suffice provided all are in English. The Credit Card is supposed to be used to verify your paypal account.
ah okay, but at least i already send them the passport and my b.i.r .... ill send them with my parents utility bill.. but where should i put that my parents is the one who pay the bill in the house ? .. hope it will take a short time.
oh i see. maybe ill write a letter with the utility bill... all this things are strong enough to prove them that i live in that address. with 2 valid i.d's that issued by the goverment and utility of my parents that i live with them.
paypal suck they limited mine too after i have sent documents they requested they requested more. i wouldn't bother and open new acount and son't ever have much money there
As long as you have nothing to hide and provide truthful information, you have nothing to fear. Just make sure you comply with all the terms and conditions which you agreed to when you signed up.
