Just today I noticed that the spam inbox got 456,042 mails that are younger than 30 days... what a pain. Ususally all older mails get deleted, but this mail flood filled up my gmail account... anyone else experiencing that? can you change the setting to auto-delete all 10+ days spam mails ? FYI - I'm using that gmail account as a catchall for "some" really old domains I bought... and they get a lot of traffic - both email and http best, christoph PS: if 2849 MB is 99% of 2849 MB, the I assume gmail even tought still accepts new spams in that account
Clear your spambox, obviously. Set a filter on incoming mail from those domains to automatically delete.
gmail will go unlimited pretty soon! so i guess there is some good news for you, though at this moment, deleting some spam emails will help!
as I wrote, I got over 500k spam mails in the last 20+ days... that's the prob ... Gmail deletes them only after 30 days manual delete of course will work
Find out any e-mail with huge file attachment and delete. Remove all spam email and you'll get more free space there
there's a utility to backup gmail email to your HD that i saw on lifehacker awhile ago...its name escapes me though
Up at the top of your Gmail, click "Create a Filter". It's to the right of the search box. In the "From:" box, type the domain name of the affected domain. Click "Next Step". Select "Delete It". Click "Create Filter" and you're done.
ohhh hahah you inbox is filled... wow you must be having lotssss of emails. why not deleting those you dont want.
