When i go to google sitemapes and i try to get my page verified google says it can't find my file. I use bluehost.com for hosting. Where do i put the file google is looking for? I put it in the public_html folder and the main folder and google still says it can't find it! Help please!

Do you have an empty file called (something like) "google87c3eaaa1df72fdf.html" in your root directory, the way Google told you to put it there? When you click the link to verify, Google tells you what to name your file and where to put it. That's the file Google is looking for.

And the root directory is also where your index file is?
