Today around 13 hrs ago, I have registered my 2nd domain name in godaddy and I use hostgator as server My domain name is called www.restaurant-business-profits.com but when I typed it, it pops up no message saying "Invalid Sysntax Error" after you click on that link. What does that mean? And why is it not working? My main purpose is to actually forword or redirect to another website. And is it true that it takes between 1-2 days to be fully fuctional or something? Your answer will be appreciated please as my computer techical knowledge is limited Thanks
When i click it it says server cant be found so i think you might just have to wait a bit longer for it to propergate fully
Oh really? So you mean it is normal when it shows that? The reason for yesterday, when i finished registered and type the domain name, it has all the advertismment of godaddy and adsense etc and all of a sudden, today has nothing. Anyways, i will wait for another 2 days or so and hopefully will be propergate fully Thanks, just that I am not expert at website stufffs so just wanan make sure, thats all cheers
Im not positibe on this but if you have pointed it to the right name servers and set the site up in hostgator then it could take upto 24 hours to propergate It hasnt at the moment or you have done the wrong details. So just wait a little longer then come back if it hasnt worked yet I would say if it hasnt done it in 36 hours then there is something wrong as it usually only take my domains about 3 hours at most

I just checked it for you and it appears to be forwarding to another site. To identify that site for you without posting a live link; the first line of copy is I am close to a main pipe so it may not be working in your area yet.
It is now redirecting to the site Colbyt mentioned. It says 'by Restuarant Checklists' as the founder company/site, so if that is yours, congrats.
