Help - My directory is being spammed to death!

Activate at least image verification. It is the minimum you can do but it will not be enough.

 

Activate the captcha image verification - it will cut down the spam.

For a while at least, make your directory paid only. That tends to take care of most of the rest of the crap.

 

50% or more of the time, I cannot figure out the captcha text by looking at it, so I would be hard pressed to believe OCR can figure it out.

 

Dude, The same problem here i am tired of crappy debt managment sites etc...
