Buying Help moving a site from a shared host to VPS (PHP)

    Hi All,

    We are in the middle of moving a site from one host to a VPS.

    created a new MySQL DB on the VPS
    We have already exported and imported the databse
    We have uploaded all the files

    For some reason, the site shop is not working properly.

    All the static pages are fine.

    The VPS is on a Plesk front end

    the current error is:

    I googled for this and got this

    If instead of safe_mode, you set an open_basedir directory then all file operations will be limited to files under the specified directory For example (Apache httpd.conf example):

    <Directory /docroot>
    php_admin_value open_basedir /docroot
    </Directory>

    This is a problem with your new server's settings. If there is any way you can ask help from your provider, then do so.
