Your site seems to be a good one for social media, you should definitely take advantage of that, try reddit.com. I would not recommend finding someone who would help for money , because in terms of seo only large investments would help. I noticed you sell links on your main page always be careful with that, you could be reported, and also when you have links coming from your site it would affect your overall pagerank as well. I found this site the other day maybe you can take advntage of these resources : zakpack.com/2008/08/huge-list-of-dofollow-sites/ . In addition try buying some links for your site on seo-console.com it would definitely help more than paying someone who would do the same, or he might have his own base of sites, and once you stop paying he will just take you off, and all your rankings will drop. Otherwise it really depends how you want to market your site whether its through search engines, banners, social media and so on, everything require a shit loads of effort.
1) It is ok to do it, but it is always a risk, because it is not approved by search engines but tolerated, just like weed in amsterdam 2) when you have a lot of links coming from your site, your pagerank goes down, for exactly the first reason
Making around a couple hundred to once in a while a thousand but looking to expand as I feel it has the potential so if you have any ideas I'm all ears.
