Omg I'm about to kick the shit out of this stupid ruddy ignorant computer in a minute! It wont do anything I tell it to! Right I downloaded a TV programme episode off Limewire..and It plays in Windows Media but only the sound. It is a video thingymajig I downloaded but I cant get the visual bit working. Can Anybody anywhere tell me what the hell i have to do *breath in, breath out* Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Tied to the wheel, my fingers got to feel, leaning on my conscience wall. I have no clue, but your statement sent me off and a tangent.
Under the View menu, make sure you have the Now Playing Options -> Show Playlist turned on. On the right, where you see the play list, right click on it, and go to Properties. Does it say there what Video codec it's using?
thanks for your help noppid! Oh i have to log off before i do some serious damage. ive been pressing every single button in front of me for the past 2 hours. why are computers so bloody complicated?
If you download the nimo codec pack you'll be able to play most things http://nimo.titanesk.com/modules/freecontent/index.php?id=1
Thanks shawn. But it's all in crappy double dutch so I dont understand what is written. Thats why ive just been clicking everything willy nilly in hope that it would work. But alas, it hasen't.
Meh.. Worked for me... Try this mirror... http://nimo.titanesk.com/modules/freecontent/content/filemirror/dl.php?mid=31
How can i download it Oli? where is the download button? (yes i do realise how thick this thread is making me sound.)
Hmmm... that's going to be a bit tough then if it's in a language you can't read. I would go with the other suggestion and install a "universal" codec pack and hopefully everything is covered.
Which 1 do I d/l = Download [ Nimo Codec Pack 5.0 build 9 B1 ] OR Download [ Nimo Codec Pack 5.0 build 9 B1 - Mirror ]
Mella download a codec pack or even better download the DivX FREE package from divx.com the codec you need to see the video will most likely get installed when you install DivX!
Ha! 15 responses in 1/2 hour because Mella needs to watch a TV program. Yet THIS POOR BASTARD has been stuck for days w/ no help.
Took me (and most of us) 5 seconds to realize that the problem here was a codec. But I read that other post and have no idea of what he is even talking about.
Install FFDShow Codec packs are generally considered evil! (TM). They can cause conflicts on your computer. I recommend ffdshow, its a decoder pack only package without any codecs. [ Means this has everything for playback ] Regards, Tuning
