    there are two type of sitemaps XML and HTML . you can create an HTML sitemap manually on priority basis and you can post it on another page of your blog naming sitemap.XML sitemaps are also helpful but you cannot upload them to your blog even if you pasted it on any of your page it will be parsed automatically . so that may not help you. For that you can do one thing just open your webmaster tool on the lower right side of your dashboard you will see "submit a sitemap" click on it and paste atom.xml on blank column and click on save it will be submitted automatically and help your blog index faster and effectively.
