To be honest, in modern day scenario, you don't necessarily need any HTML knowledge - BUT, i'm not saying you shouldn't learn HTML because the more you know HTML and other languages, the more you will understand how your site works and if anything goes wrong you can sort it out.

But if you were looking to start a niche site with minimal HTML knowledge, then you could easily do so with an application such as Wordpress (blogging software), but as Be_honest mentioned, it might be a good idea to pop over to w3schools, it is a great resource, and every little bit of HTML you know, will help in some way or another :]

There are number of factors in getting adsense approval. Time is not a factor. If your website is complete, and contain enough rich-contents, Google will approve your adsense account. But once you fail, do not re-apply within 7-10 days. Because, your application may be rejected without further verification. Google never allow spamming of any kind.

The two things that you're asking about dont often go together, you're asking about the often mentioned wish of big money for little effort.

In most cases it doesn't happen like that, on their own none of what you mentioned will do the job with regards to earning good.

Be prepared to put in major effort into anything that you do if you hope to earn well from it.

    bennykidd,

i started creating sites 3 years ago and i can tell you, there is no get rich scheme. you have to be persistent, keep learning new things and keep learning from both your failures and your successes. While it is not necessary to learn HTML, having some basic knowledge will definitely help you.

Another things is to do research. Don't just pick any niche. Spend the time to do your research. the more time you put upfront, the better your chances of success. And make sure that you do every little thing well.

For example, i started doing article marketing to build backlinks. Then, i came here and spoke to people about article marketing itself and learned enough to make my campaigns more effective. Similarly there are many steps to promoting a site. Make a list of each step and then learn each step well. DP is one of the best places to learn new things because people here are keen to share their knowledge.

I have 135 websites that I give away. Some of the niches reach up around 6 million searches per month in yahoo. Multiply that times 4 to 5 for google. This is a great place to get you a website free. You will have to pay for your domain that will be $25.20. I have a $10 set-up fee in the domain charge because I have to point your domain to the name servers. I host your site with host gator for three months free and give you free training to promote your site for search ranking and show you how to monetize the site with Adsense, affiliates, clickbank or whatever sales partner you want to use. 3 months is in my opinion long enough for you to make your site profitable. After the three months you can either stay with my hosting or go get your own. The $25.20 is all you will pay until your three month period is up and I only get the ten dollars for helping you get started. Big deal right but that is what I like to do. You can visit me at www freewebsite200.com if you are interested. Had to leave out the period after www. I am a jr member of this forum and I cannot provide a link as of yet.
