help me please . i want to know about a wordpress plugin. i need a plugin that can short the length of the post from the homepage. i saw many site which has do this ... their post is ending with " Read more..." when we click on read more we can see the whole post. please guide me which plugin i must use. 2. when i crawled my own site with bot homepage is ok with metatags. but when i crawled the post from my site " keyword is missing" how to fix that problem if you know 3. final thing i need a plugin which can index all the pages of web . for currently it displaying older post and newer post. i saw on some site like 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 ........... 23 24 etc etc hope for reply thanks in advance
Press Alt + Shift + T when writing a post, this will insert the "more" tag. It will add the "read more..." link to your post. "Read more" might be other words depending on your WP theme.
Ahh, you failed to mention that I'll have to get back to you on that. You would have to set some kind of character limit for your posts. All this will be edited in your single.php file in your template folder.
brother single.php is for indivisual post. i m talking about home page. like i m displaying 5 post on my site and all are full post . i want to hide their details for example post : blah blah bbla blah blah ( post end) i want to display it like post: blah blah read more ( when user click on read more then it will redirect to the full post)
