Help me with this question pls

hi. i run a britney spears fan site.
The keyword i work for " britney Spears" has at least about 4million searches per month.

I rank page number 3 for that keyword, but i just get about 200 visits per day.

Do u think people stay in the first google pages?

Research has shown that about 85% of searchers stay on the first page of the results. The remaining 15% or so will click onto pages 2+.

Congrats on ranking on page 3 though, that's not easy with such a popular term

 

thnks, yesterday for about 1 min i had users coming to my page from google first page. maybe some datacenter? dont know, but it got me hope to rank at least at page 2 =D.

My site is just 10 month old. i hope as it get older i get better rankings

 

Well age won't be the only thing to help. You need to build links.

Flipping to page 1 is common. Google will sometimes shuffle the first 5 pages for a short time, then put them back to normal. Usually happens when they are updating the index.

 

Keep building quality links and hopefully you'll make page 1!

 

the thing is that im sure i will just get reciprocal links now. hope it helps also ( i know they r not so good as 1 way links :S )

 

Try directory submissions and article submissions (see my sig ) for one way links.

No, dmoz is not the key to your success (fortunately). You can do article and directory submissions yourself without spending a penny.

 

i prefer to save some money and pay u to do that. hehe.
