Help me with the ad placement.

I've a gaming website, getting nearly 2.2-2.5k visitors dailly, 4k impressions but earnings are only $1-2. Can you plz suggest me what am I doing wrong?

I saw your ad placement and i prefer that you place a 728 header banner and a 336 large rectangle in your text

 

but the 728 banner will not fit in text, and 336 rectangle is on long enough, hence I am placing 2 468 banners....lets see if it helps.

 

You can try to change your theme to mystique,incase your site is powered by wordpress.I had a significant increase in CTR after moving over to mystique and it it has full customization you can place 728 and 336 ads as they offer a higher cpc (views may differ) as compared to other smaller ad units

 

mystique is very common theme....I wanted something unique.....well I am just gonna give the current ads a trial for this month, if CTR doesnt increase, will try what you suggest...thanks anyways

Placement of your ads are right, i believe. It could be that ads are not relevant to traffic you drive like an lic ad may not get any click at all but the 3d animation one get a lot.

 

I too had this doubt,or you can say,the fact that mystique is quite common,in my mind for quite some time...but a 400% increase in CTR and a 10x increase in earnings put me to ease Best of luck
