Can some one explain me what I am doing wrong.

www.AyHu.com (26,000 back links)- Got PR3 (looks like)
    www.Dotrig.com (25,000 back links) - Got PR2 (looks like)
    www.DesiLinkDirectory.com (16,000 back links) - Got PR0

    www.nwkk.com (22,500 back links) - Got PR1 (looks like)
    www.tradein.biz (22,800 back links) - Got PR2 (looks like)

    www.OneBigTravel.com (12,500 back links) -- Got PR2
    www.DirectoryGain.com -- 6,000 back links - This got PR4

First 3 get 3 to 4 times the traffic compared to the last one wich got PR4

Not sure if Google is going by my luck - Which is always F***d up.

Any help in understanding this is appreciated.

One site with 32,000 back links and 20,000 google indexed pages have PR1 - And still PR1

    Thanks

I think the most important thing to say is that it's not volume of backlinks - it's quality.
Google are probably ranking you poorly for 3 reasons:

    1) Your links aren't from websites that are trusted

    2) Your links aren't from websites that have a single clear theme

    3) You have build up links too quickly

I've just received a PR4 after a couple of months to a website that has 17 backlinks because the backlinks are relevant and ranked well themselves.

DSB is correct. Link quality is so much more important than quantity. Get trusted , high PR links. Also take note of how many other links there are on that page where your link is situated. All links on a page share that pages PR between them.

1.) You must build backlinks that has a high PR like PR5 or more..
2.) Some links, even though they are indexed in Google, will put your site with rel="nofollow" command..
3.) You have linked in a bad neighborhood so watch out

pagerank is not a measure of the number of links pointing to a site. its a measure of the weight of the links pointing to a site.

I'm guessing your trying to build PR for your directories.. but you must remember a PR6 link with only 3 outbound links is much more valuable than a pr7 with 500..

your linking is a mess, both incoming and outgoing is a mess. I wouldn't know where to start......too many link exchanges. you exchanged links with any kind of sites and some bad neighborhoods.
