I just made my returns policy for my business, and I need to know if it makes sense to you guys. Are all points covered? Does it make sense, and what questions do you have still, after reading the policy? (will give +rep of course) Heres the policy, I took a few lines from other similar retailers, and summarized it into one, I tried including all the major things that should be in a returns policy, hopefully, it makes sense..
I've changed a few things that were either confusing or just not written as well as they could be. Those changes are bolded. Also, one thing you need to cover is a return in case of a shipment ARRIVING damaged. You can't hold a customer at fault for that and should issue a replacement while UPS or whoever you use investigates.

Good point on the item arriving damaged, but isn't that already in there by mentioning if an item is not functioning properly upon arrival, they have the 30 days of receipt to notify us
You should have an attorney review it for errors. Jeffery Cohen would be the attorney I recommend. You should also consider implementing an RMA system as well

Sorry, I just meant to say that the parts I changed and bolded weren't really confusing, but could have been worded better. And yes, while the item arriving damaged is covered by the not functioning upon arrival, I would still add it in as a separate spot, just in case. People might not make the connection and think "not working properly" means it looks fine cosmetically, but doesn't actually work, not that it arrived smashed in the mail.
