Help me with marketing ideas

I started a site called MyWii.com for then new Nintendo Wii. I am currently getting around 100 unique/ day how do I turn that 100 into 1000. I know people here know how to do it and I am asking for their help. Also I am aware that info like that is kept close to the hears for no one else to know but it would be really helpful.

MySpace, Yahoo Groups...try to get involved in as many Wii communities as you can.

 

I would try getting viral style videos advertising your contest onto YouTube and video sites.

Big giveaways are bound to draw traffic too. Invest in a few Wii units and give them away to people who tell 100 of their friends about the site, for example. Advertise the giveaways via PPC and communities.

Freebies! Even if its free information, adveritse your site giving stuff out for free and people will flok, who can resist free stuff?

What marketing are you already undertaking to attract those 100 visitors?

 

I have some played ads around the net, ward of mouth and a good domain that’s all the advertisement I have done.

And yes I am a big fan of the Nintendo Wii I can't wait to get one I’m going to Nintendo Fusion on the 24 as well so I’m a hard core Nintendo Fan

 

Odds are you'll need to be a little patient through November. Lots of merchants are going to be throwing a lot of money at PPC to make those first couple weeks of holiday sales.

I think you have an attractive site, and as long as you keep the forums humming and bring new enthusiasts onboard as often as possible, you'll have a nice steady site for years to come.

For the short term go the forum, blog and other community type sites... I like the suggestion about doing a giveaway, that should help a lot... I would also get started on your SEO work if you haven't done so already as this will help you in the long term.

Also see if you can scoop some cool screen shots and news about the system and it's game releases. If you really put up quality content that nobody else has, word of moth will be done for you and you will see your visits sky rocket.

Remeber the #1 rule of SEO... content, content, content

 

thanks guys and i already started a contest I’m giving away a Wii game working on some manual directory signups having some ads running all over the place top sites and getting on SEO I think I’m covering all my corners did I leave anything out.

 

best way to increase it is to get lots and lots of articles and press release out there - its hard work , there is no other way

I highly reccommend the guy named Tyler on here for writing .. he is very good

Also another way is stat a couple of good blogs about the topic of your site and link to it.. make sure you blog and ping with something like www.Pingoat.com , it gets your blogs found

You really need more content. Content is key in the world.
You also desperately need some SEO work done. You can PM me if you need some affordable SEO work - if you have a budget, provide that, too.
