Help Me With joomla im going to start a site

    im going to start a online community with joomla please tell me is will it help me

    Can i decide the posts to be shown on home page (members will post their things, what i want to do is select some from the best posts to be displayed in home page)

    can i put my adsence ads in joomla site

    can i add a application likr Kyte tv in home page

    and also please tell me the cheapest hosting site to host my joomla site

    Did you already check the Joomla website itself?

    On joomla.org, there's also I really great forum to answer newbee questions like yours.

    I can answer one for you, you can integrat Adsense in your site, using an extension.

    the answer is YES to all about Joomla u asked :)

    but maybe to make it as u want is quite tricky @ first coz Joomla gimme headache
    for the 1st time i use it. :D

    I use joomla for the community site in my signature. Take a look at it if you want to see what can be done with joomla for a community site.

    You'll want to get the community builder extension from joomlapolis.com since you're building a community site.

    You can probably do about whatever you want with joomla, usually where there's a will there's a way. You can get a lot of good information and help from the joomla.org forum and the joomlapolis forum in setting your site up.

    As far as hosting whatever you do just stay away from Ipower, they suck so bad I can't even explain how much. I use hostv for my site and I like them pretty well.
