Hello , i need an idea about how to be able to search very fast into a database after an name. The problem is that the database can be mega bites in size, and it must be made public, so it will have to work really really really fast. The database it's not yet created, and i can create several files for it, if needed. The database it's about business name. A good way to make it fast it will be to alphabetycaly sort it. But ... i want to be able to search it like *name*, so diane, will also return jedianes ,etc... i also want that diane, to search for *dianes*, so it will be like a smart search ... so any ideas? how to make it very fast ? i have around 500 000 listings / database..., and around 10 databases of business listings from different countries... Database sample : diane diannes strong diane ltd metal dianes ltd dental diane services ... all this need need to get back aftering running a diane search ... or diane"s"
