    Hey guys,

I could do with some creative input ...

I need a catchy tagline for my blog. I've brainstormed till 2am last night and I've come up with zip.

I'm currently using "all things internet business" - urrgh

Previously used "for the internet-savvy home business entreprener"

something along those likes as my blog targets:
    1. home business owners
    2. internet business
    3. entrepreneurs

    Cheers,
    Martin

I think that's a winner but... how about...

    Your Internet Net

You know, I reckon people are bombarded by this stuff when they start to look for a thread through the online maze so you want to find something that makes them feel secure. I don´t think it necessarily has to state exactly what you do.

Try this...Your Voice For Home Business Entrepreneurs.

This ties in to the branding of the domain name and the message that you want to get across.

You could try the classy route and adopt a byline that would impress upon your readers that your blog is analogous to respected periodicals. "The Internet Marketing Gazette" and "The Mobile Marketing Manager" comes to mind.

Or you could try humor to win their attention. How about...

I have always liked the way Site5.com does their tag lines - It changes every time and has nothing to do with web hosting:

    For Example:
*Like our website? We made it ourselves
    *Now with less carbs.

Wow, thanks for everyone's efforts. A little feedback - but remember it's just my thoughts, so hope no one takes offense.

tandac - 'helping businesses get online'
nice - but I'm hoping that they're already online ...

wizardofx - The 500 Pound Gorilla of Small Internet Business'
nice, but a little too "out there" for what I'm after.

eiso - 'bring it on - line'
I like it - but maybe it's too smart, I get the feeling some might have to think too much to get it. ;)

e10 - 'Your Online Business Compass' & 'Grow your Business Online'
I like the compass part - the other seems a little too bland, like I've seen it all over the place.

Las Vegas Homes - 'Your Voice for Home Business Entrepreneurs'
Very nice. I'm thinking along those lines ...

TheWriteWay - love the humor :D

DeluxeEdition - changing taglines is unique but I'd prefer to stick to one
    and brand it.

rateAcoder.com - Thanks for taking the time.
'work-at-home' I'd rather stay away from - the phrase has a poor perception IMHO ... ie: it's associated with home business scams.

To everyone, many thanks for your creative input ... keep them coming.

Playing around with some of the words I've come up with:
    'voice of an internet entrepreneur'

From my view, I see that my name (HomeOfficeVoice) clearly shows that it's about home business, and the tag takes it further by the 'internet entrepreneur' line. So it's pretty clear that it's about Home Business and Internet Business. The tag also personalizes it a little - "voice of an internet entrepreneur' being me as I am a internet entrepreneur and essentially the blog is about my experiences/views - so it could be good for personally branding.

    What do you guys reckon?

Also, keep them coming. I'm open to anything. It's a bit like the ultimate brainstorming session (a hundred minds is better than one simple one: mine) - anything and everything is welcome. ;)

Kavs, yeah you're right ... you had 'voice of an entrepreneur' ... actually missed that  ... it must've stuck in my sub-conscious when I went through your list

Anyway, I've added 'internet' to it and so far I like the sound of it ... so a big thanks for the time you took.

    Cheers,
    Martin

I think with all the combinations of tag lines here you should have a good one. Glad I was able to offer a little bit of help. I must admit though I enjoy doing this kind of stuff.
