    Hello Guys,

about 30-40 days ago i did a simple design job for some one and got the money ( about 300-$400 )
now he come back and told he is not satisfied and want to open a dispute with paypal..
although i tried hard to talk with him and make him what he want he didnt agree(seems like a scammer)

    by the way
now i dont have any balance in my account,i spend all money and bought lots of things..
if he open a dispute i'm sure he will win(you know paypal doesnt care about digital items)
i just checked and paypal didnt show how he paid it just told :
    Payment type: INSTANT

so you guys think if he open a dispute will all the money i sent go to HOLD or what?
what will paypal do in this case?

    thanks alot,
ill provide a gift to all peoples that help me in this situation..:)

At best, you can call Paypal directly and put forth your views personally.

Such cases have risen in the recent times and paypal have been seen taking the side of buyers only :(

Btw....this is not for any gift or so..People here would try to help you if they can..in any case.

    Regards,

    Hi
There is no way of knowing whether somebody payed through balance, credit card or bank transfer.... Besides whenever you are asking to be paid from someone for digital goods ask him to put ' digital delivery' or 'digital product' in the note when sending payment...
I GUESS....If the amount has been paid for more than 60 days then dispute cant occur
If the money is put on hold and reversed your balance will go in minus .....yes money may be put on hold if he opens dispute and then see what paypal tells you to do... and you may also contact paypal if that happens.....Its better to resolve dispute directly with your client..
    Regards

Paypal do not take any action regarding the disputes , They only say that they can take any action regarding the payment within 180 Days, But my experience is that Paypal takes no action. So relax.:)

No, they won't. They will try to get the funds from your backup/linked account.

On some case. You will get negative balance, that's less than $0. ( -$ ).
Other case , paypal will hold which money from that sender and use to paid for item. Hold all payment
Best way, you should call to Paypal and they will review help you this trouble.
    Payment Method: Instant.
Maybe he paid by Credit/Debit Card
    maybe he paid by balance.
