i have a phpbb forum i want to protected my forum from DDOS ATTACK please anyone suggest me how do i do?

 

You don't protect sites...you protect servers. If they can get to your site then it's too late.

 

please tell me how can i protect my server?

 

Do you have managed Dedicated server or you are on shared server? To protect server from DDOS, you will need firewall and DDOS mitigation system. If still your server is attacked, you will need advance security for your server.

if you are under huge attack...you have no option other than hardware firewalls...but if the attack is minimal you can control it by using Syn Deflate

From your username and your signature, it's pretty obvious that you have your own hosting company.

You might want to checkout (D)Dos Deflate. It is a script that automatically bans IPs that have large amounts of TCP connections with your server.
