Help me understand what these terms mean.

    Hi all,

    Please ignore my newbie-ness but what do these terms mean;

    1. Proxy site. What are poxy sites? I have seen there are many proxy sites being on sale in DP. Are they different to normal sites in terms of operation and functioning and so on?

    2. Backlinks. Also seen backlinks being on sale in DP. Am I correct if I say buying or having backlinks for your sites means your site will be linked to ohter sites you buy backlinks for?

    Proxy sites can be found at proxy.org, backlinks are just links going to your website in order to increase search engine rankings.

    see my signature, will find some proxy sites , better regarding what ? backlinks are better for serps, proxies to avoid filters
