I own a website about house music articles, djs, albums and hardware(mp3 players, mixers and so on)..
I'm looking to put some cash in my pocket, but thats my first time in this type of business ;)

I don't want to use adsense, i just want to put a link "buy this cd" or something more user-friendly in the bottom of each album, dj or hardware...

Please, can you tell me from where to start ? May be Amazon ?

If you were me - what would you do ?
    / learn better english, yeah :D /

If I were you, I wouldnt use Amazon. Their commissions and cookie period length suck. I would suggest checking out zzounds.com and other more appropriate house music online stores which you can affiliate with.

I always get my CD and DVDs from Amazon, Tower Records at Performics does good for me too.

I've tried lots of instrument places and Musicians Friends works the best for me. They're at cj.com

I'd go with clickbank for the pure fact that they have music downloads, the percentage is good and they pay on time. But if you're not into downloads then do a search but I'd rather stay above the 25% commission rate instead of the 3-10% from cj and elsewhere.

Yeah, I'd recommend MusiciansFriend.com too. music123.com (linkshare) is another option for instruments, but I haven't tried them myself.

Amazon has always converted the best for me with CD's and it's real easy to add a CD below whatever your reviewing..which is what you said you're looking for. Their commission is low though. Starts @ 4%. Even if you sell 10,000 items it only gets up to 8.5%.

For selling CD's, Amazon is the way to go, imo. People seem to trust them the most.

ebay's an option too. They pay 40%+. :)

"but I'd rather stay above the 25% commission rate instead of the 3-10% from cj and elsewhere"

No place has 25% commission for DVDs or CDs.

"ebay's an option too. They pay 40%+. "

Just to clarify, not 40% of the selling price but maybe 40% of the fees ebay gets.

As far as Amazon it starts at 4% but very easy to jump to 6%, just need to sell 21 items in 3 months. Very easy and then if you can sell more, higher. I like Amazon because they have some of the lowest prices and conversion is pretty easy because it's a brand people trust. And lots of times they might go for a CD or DVD and find something else on the site and throw it into their cart.
