Start with the header; Look at some photoshop tuts to find out how to create cool and professional logos with effects and better fonts. Another thing is the background and borders which should be made, read about CSS
You have at least 4 mistakes of bad English in the first sentence. You need to find a coypywriter or someone to help you with your sentences. Even your first sentence with 2 exclamation points is a question and should be followed by a question mark(?), not exclamation points(!!). If you want your website to have credibility in countries where English is the native language, then the English should be perfect. Otherwise, people will have a low opinion of your website and will be inclined to not use it. You need to add an About Us page that tells them about you. Who are they doing business with? People want to do business with people, not with websites. You need a photo, story and other information that tells visitors why you are in this business. You should make it very clear and prominent that these coloring pages are FREE. One of the Google ads showing up at the top of your page is for "free coloring pages". It is hard to figure out that yours is free. Also that it is easy to print. Many people will not use a website that does not have a telephone number. It is a question of credibility. You make them wonder why you don't have one. They will trust you more if you do have one. Displaying ads at the top of your page, in the center, is a mistake. It takes people off your site too quickly. Keep the ads in the panel at the right. Build up some loyal users who like your site.
You should also build up the "community" side of your website. People can take pictures of their children's coloring pages and upload them. Then they tell all their friends to "go look". You can give a prize to the best one every week or every month. Your site will then grow by word-of-mouth.
firstly, i like your site's content but,i think u kneed a web designer to redesign your site. the header and the description about your site at the top looked like an old design website... * nice content + nice adsense
It looks very powerful (looking at the content) but you could use some SEO friendly links like: domain.com/categoryname/pagename/title also sitemap For desinging thing I'd go with web2.0 style buttons, gradients as backgrounds in columns etc or you are looking for a whole design? I'll post some photoshopping about my idea later.
Ok my ideas (Actually I put 2 hours into this~): link (for bigger image): hxxp://img143.imageshack.us/img143/9956/sitedesign.jpg My brain started freezing when I was making the menu since here it's 1.27 a.m. atm so that's not so cool looking. Also haven't made some background for listings & haven't finished gradienting the titles only the first one. Also I had some hard time cutting out the actual backgrounds bc there were some gradients (?) or maybe my PS is baad. I made it so rich in colors bc obv your target's would like it.
