    Hi all,

I am making a web through a web making software. Yesterday I put a flash banner (already in the software) on my page but after that when I tried to preview this page on internet explorer (Vista) then instead of that banner a message bar appeared at the top stating that to protect my security, IE has restricted this webpage from running scripts etc. As I have seen such messages on some webs before therefore I clicked on that bar and allowed blocked contents and after that I was able to watch that flash banner.
For me it is ok but for a simple user who visit my web, I don't expect him/her to understand this. So may be he won't see this banner.
So is it possible that I use that flash banner but that message doesnot appear for general users on their computer so they can watch that banner even without clicking on "allow blocked contents"

Note: it's a simple flash banner and even when I put a navigation bar or you can say any dynamic thing this message appears.

Help me solving it and you will get a 5USD just as a jesture to your help :)

    Thanks

This can happen too if you are trying to run the website off of your own computers directory. Did you receive this message when loading the page from the web server? Send me the URL and I"ll see if I get this problem. I'm behind a firewall, so if anyone would get it, it would be me. ;)

Check the banner code, does it contain a link?

Also, is this website making site using iframes or hosting different parts of the site on different servers?

If you are using a regular flash banner this shouldn't be happening. If the flash banner hosted on the same server as the rest of the site?

Get it all hosted in the same place and you should be fine.

The reason it that if you open the html file directly by double clicking it in windows, then you will receive the security warning if it has javascript/java/flash. If you run it from a webserver using http:, then it will not show warnings for javascript or flash unless it is really harmful.

when you will host your site you will not get this massage ... this is why only, you are opening your page from local computer...

so no need to gift that money for this natural problem ...
