Everybody, 4NIK8R has stolen my admin password to the databases to my game, thepirategame.net, and has changed it on me. He has then given himself a load of credits. I am wondering who should I report this tradjedy to, and what kind of time could he be serving? Also, I learned my lesson about using easy passwords. I think he came from these forums, so he should really be banned from the internet all together.

The first thing to do is to call your host, or obtain your server logs. After you have done that you should obtain his IP I would block his complete range of Ips eg.)

Further more if he is in the united states of america you can get him for destruction of private property. If credit cards where involved you should contact every member on your website who has provided one and let them know.

I assume you have fixed the Database correct? Also how did he get your password? You do encrypt them don't you?

Do you use in particular piece of software to run your site? -- If you do I would look around for known exploits of it so it want happen again

There are many laws playing in effect here. First, where is this person from? Until you know that, you can do nothing. Update the thread with more information about it so you can actually be helped.
