Help Me Promote My Local Computer Repair Business

Where is your location, or at least country?
Since you are using craiglist, I assume somewhere in the US?

 

How about some PPC?

Target those local keywords and use the top search engines.

 

The reason you're not getting any results is because these are two very different businesses. The affiliate site is an online product and probably nationwide or global market. Where as the computer business is LOCAL and an in-person market.

You have a built-in computer savvy market with this computer repair niche, which is great! So you need to be found online through a website. You need to do "local SEO" to market in your city, not nationwide. Go about it like any other business would. Website, business cards, PPC, Classifieds, local newspaper, word of mouth, social media to residents in your city, etc.

 

Buy lawn signs and put them close to where your business is.

 

Design some door hangers, go out and buy some, then walk around nice neighborhoods(elderly is best, they always have pc problems) and hang them on doors. This option is generally cheap($150-$250 depending on quality) and is going to be easily effective. Not only is it legal but a lot of times people will see you and come to the door, or be outside their homes, and talk to you, and you can give them a short pitch. Don't forget to put an offer of a % off if they bring in the door hanger, this gives them more of a reason to use the service and also lets you track how effective the hangers truly were.

Have you tried Off line advertisements like banner displays, billboard designing. These are trending advertisements ways and really attract audience, so try them also. All the best.

 

I agree with billzo, the fact that computers are cheap and disposable being on that niche I must say is not that profitable.
Anyway, aside from computer repair I hope you can offer more than just repair. A little something that you can offer yet relevant to your niche.

 

Yes that's right do more research about what you are doing. Online business is hard to run due to its credibility. Provide enough information about your site, post on social medias, use free ads or better hire an SEO.
