help me pleaseeee...problem with sitemap

hi fellas..
iam trying to submit the sitemap for two of my websites..
here is my question..i host 2 domains as add on domains in my real server..

two of my domains are pointed as folders from the server...
like in folder 1, its the website of 1.com
and the name folder 2 is the website of 2.com in my server..

so its an addon..

now seriously, each time i submit the sitemap..it reports back saying..robots unable to crawl and another time, it even said..file missing..

what shud i do..where shud i place the sitemap..in the folders of 1 and 2 or the real server?

Iam using joomla CMS..

please guide me..

Make sure that the sitemaps are in valid format and there is no spelling mistake, try to open your sitemap url in normal browser and see if it opens fine.

 

Did you check the sitemap URL to ensure it opens?

 

Check with this tool http://www.webmasterstalks.com/tools/validate/xml-checker.php if your sitemap is valid or not. Also this tool will show you the line number and error if an error occured.
