Now on your question - you say you have a blog with google adsense, and your question is how can you earn from adsense. Now I will not answer your question directly since almost all newbie is asking that question and it is so hard to answer them repeatedly. Instead, I will ask question to you.

1. Do you have unique/quality content? (since this is the king)
- Now don't get me wrong. Even if you write your own content, it doesn't mean you have unique/quality content.

2. Do you know how to bring traffic to your site? (the queen)
3. Do you know SEO? (Search Engine Optimization)
4. Do you know how to create a good website design?
5. And lastly, are you willing to do hard work and have PATIENCE? Since earning from google adsense is not easy as others may think (even if you have your Adsense account).

Answer those question above and if you can answer them all, no need to ask how you can earn from google adsense.

Add your site to Google Adsense account then when your adsense account get approved ads displayed when someone click on that ads you get earning per click

how on earth your blog has Adsense Ads if you don't know how it works?

 

1. Read as much as you can from seo forums
2. Learn on-site SEO
3. Update your blog daily if possible
4. Link building ( from all sources if possible )
5. Tweak your ads. Try and try again until you get the best shot.

Yes, traffic is key. If no one is coming to your site then you won't profit.
