I own www.geekthreadz.com I know I can use cafepress, but theres not much profit with cafepress. So is there any other way for me to create t-shirts, and have some company or website make them to order?
disc makers has good quality t shirts for $99 for 24 shirts printed one color i think it is any color which is about $4 a shirt which if you are selling them for $20 each then that is a good profit margin. I would say if you are wanting to sell clothing to find a wholesaler and a local printer to work with and it will make your profit margin even greater
I agree with you on Cafepress. I have a cafepress shop and i sell a fair number of shirts but the profits are crap. Here are a few other sites that i have been looking at. http://www.spreadshirt.com http://goodstorm.com http://www.bountee.com/ http://www.zazzle.com hope that helps
Thanks for the list, maybe we can get the list even bigger, because I sell a $20 shirt at cafepress and make a dollar or two...I mean you can only sell a shirt for so much, no1 wants a $30 t shirt.
Source a supplier in the far east is your best bet. Thailand and vietnam, for instance. If you can't find one after hours of googling then source a middleman based in your own country. If you can't do that then email tshirt sellers in non-competing markets and ask them, send out an email to 10 of them and you should get one decent reply back.
There is American Apparel based out of Los Angeles... you might have to deal in rather large quantities however. -SS
