I am trying to edit a page for my school newspaper. The problem is that the guy who designed it left us no information on how to edit the page. We do not even know what he created it with. Here is the all of the information that I could get from the site:

You can edit it on Dreamweaver, it's been written in HTML mostly. However I'm not an accept lol

Then the easiest think to do is open the file in Dreamweaver and make your changes there, in the design view. It doesn't seem like you should have any particular complications, but if you have an specific question, ask.

Most of it is javascript junk. I suggest you scrap it and put together a more light-weight design.

If this is a school web page, don't the students have a faculty sponsor who can help with learning html and css? Get with your sponsor and set up time to work through tutorials on the web. Learn html and css. In the html tutorials, ignore the sections on table layouts and the sections on frames. They're a waste of time. Use css to control the layout.

Start rewriting the page. Leave the javascript out. You don't need it anyway, and marquees by any name an ugly affectation. Don't worry too much if it doesn't look like a pro did it—because a pro didn't do it. As you progress, you can juice it up. When you run into a problem, try to work through it, and if you can't, bring it to the forum. Read Eric S. Raymond's paper on how to ask questions the smart way so you won't look clueless.

the javascript in the page is mostly junk
only simple html will be done for it using css
