So, I made a sale for a couple of grand a few days ago, and I thought I'd treat myself to a new phone. I've got an old Sony Ericsson 810i, and since I started working with stocks, I really need something which doesn't mess with the site page Basically, a business as well as a media phone. This requires a PDA or a smartphone. I'm down to 3 choices. Blackberry Pearl 8130 I like: - Good browser/media center. - Good camera, etc. - Expandable memory. I dont like: - Less complex then the 8800. Never know if I'll need that. Im stepping into university next year, and that could be needed. - Organization not as detailed. Blackberry 8800 I like: - WIFI! That scored big points with me, since I can only use so much of my mobile internet before they start overcharging me. - Trackball. Instead of having sore fingers, its just a sore thumb. - Expandable memory. I dislike: - The size of the thing. It's like having a second attachment you feel on your hip. Apple iPhone I like: - Because I'm 17 at the moment. Yes, it is a valid reason. I'm at the stage of "shiny, pretty, must have". Fortunately, unlike 99% of my peers, I can control it. The layout is just cool. I dislike: - It's a touchscreen. Meaning if I touch it enough, it'll become a ScratchedScreen. So, experiences? Comments? Advice? Right now, Im heavily in between the 1st and 2nd, due to the smaller size and the wifi.
ssh refers to? I've pretty much convinced myself out of it. I'm leaning heavily towards the BlackBerry 8820
Definitely Iphone. I have been using it for quite a while, and it is just great. No scratches on the screen, even though I was expecting some (I do not use a cover or anything like that). Definitely go for the Iphone.
