    Someone is posting rubbish about my website and degrading it's goodwill, and this is done on the website like complaintsboard which has high PR, because of which bad links are now appearing on the top 10 results of Google SERP's on my company's keyword.:mad::mad:

    Tell me the solution!!!:confused::confused:

    That's unfortunate - and has happened to quite a few people I know, sometimes its a competitor making vicious remarks.

    You can try and contact the owner of the site where the complaints were made and ask them to remove the comments because they're false - although many will refuse to remove the posts!

    You could also try and post a (reply / comment) on the site the posts were made and state your case - then if others see the post, they also see your post explaining that these posts are false. But be polite and don't rant and rave!

    Other then that there isn't much you can do except don't keep clicking the link and hope it gets buried in the search engine. It will in time!

    Hope you get it sorted, all the best

    Thanks alex!!
    But I have done both the things you told me to do , other than that I also optimized the website on the keywords on which it was showing up so that my affiliates could come up on tht rather. but it's not working , I guess there should be something for the fast results.

    Good! Its not an overnight fix but can be buried within a few months if you carry on doing what you are.

    You're right there should be a fast solution and these complaint sites should require some sort of proof before allowing someone to slander and try to damage a businesses reputation, but there isn't.

    Wait and see if the person complaining responds to your comments??? if they do - just say you want to settle this fairly!

    And then paint a good picture of yourself as a good person willing to put right any issues. (even though they're false)

    All the best
