You probably need to optimize your ads.
I'd recommend adding a Text Banner Ad just below the post heading in single post. And also move the larger rectangle above the about box in your sidebar.

Why don't you consider hosting your own blog? There are many advantages as you will actually own it should it begin to make alot of money, search engines also tend to favour hosted blogs such as the Wordpress platform too.

It would take a little extra work to set up but you'd have full control over it.

Can you share link of your blog , so we can check and guide you . ALways keep changing adsense positions and check which one works better forr you . Add adsense ads near content in same color , so they look like part of article or content . By this you can get some profit .

How much traffic have you earned? If you share the link of the blog along with the information on the traffic amount per month, I'm sure you will get a more descriptive answer

The Placement Looks Dull , Place your Ads Between the content . In your Posts, I know i would never Look at those ads With Interest With that Location , My Point is Make them Stand out like if your placement is real content . AND Btw , Get better colors for your Site Overall It Looks plain , Then Stick with the theme.

There is one thing worth remember : many of people block ads in browser, and that behavior you can expect
from guys visiting the tech blog. No matter how nice your ads are, they just don't see them.

from time to time yahoo uses orange for the background of the ads ( i mean here the big square in the upper side right front page) The effect is very strong. but i would not advise use it very often. your visitors might get used to it
the icon is mostly for the collor efect:mad:

As i see it there are two important parts of getting clicks. Placement, like you guys have said, and relevancy. Placement is key but it is also important to think about what is shown in your adsense ads. Google will show ads that matches your content, but sometimes its not the best ads. Try to think about what your visitors might be interested about and then see if you can get your ads to show ads in that field. You can for example in adsense choose which part of your content should determine what ads to show. If you work with this you might be able to specialize your ads better to match your visitors needs. You can also try to write blog posts about stuff that might generate good ads.

here you are two simple tips that might help:
    - increase traffic
    - experiment with different ad format & placement every month to see which performs the best

In one of my blogs, I'm surprised that adding a horizontal link ad under post title gives better performance than using the rectangle ad. In another blog, I find that placing the rectangle ad directly below post title has the best performance.

    My Suggestions,

    1) Place a 468 X 15 link unit in the Top Navigation with right Alignment.

    2) Place another 468 X 15 Link Unit just below the Comment form in the Single Post view.

    3) Move the About box on the Sidebar to the bottom from top. So that the subscription box will get the position and increases your regular readers count.

I hope my tips would really helps you...

My wishes for your great success in Adsense :)
