    Hey guys.
first of all I need to confess Im totally noob at Web Server hosting and tech stuffs.
I've been used VPS server for last two years that paid it month 93$ for the details spec as below show.

    Ram 1024mb
    Disc 50Giga
    Bandwidth 1000gb
Windows 2003 server, classic ASP. MS SQL 2005
    Plesk and full management

Well I'm currently sick of memory usage issue like to reach 90~96% of total memory that cause service down happened.
When I've monitored memory resources it show MS SQL posses 600mb, IIS server 200mb around.
And then when I've asked to web hosting company how much it is to add extra 1giga, they replied 40$ per month to close half of my current cost that sounds bullshit.

they said that's the correct price after consider me to valued client. and they offered can do it Dynamic Dedicated Server with same price, better service option

I know here can see a lot offers with better price even for better service option.
But Frankly due to some tech issues that happened to me last time such as web service down for several days and Database roll back that happened while I tried to transfer my web server from web hosting to set new VPS, I couldn't consider to transfer my current one to other sources.

DDS simply what does diffrent from Dedicated Server ?
VPS or DDS or dedicated server ? What is best option for small shopping site like need 24/7 uptime, daily 500 visitors ?
No need web hosting service. I don't want to get suffered again from web hosting service that I've got experienced bad only due to too much downtime at godaddy and others.
More serious one to newbie if I move to new server, How can I transfer my current server and domain stuffs and/or web server, DB Data source to new server ?

sorry my humble questions and bad english.
ty in advance you guys any advices.

with your post I get an understand that you are not happy with shared hosting accounts, so I would suggest go for a dedicated server, how good it works, it all depends how much you try to load it, and you have 100% control on it, so no other client or site cause it overload etc.

There are different specs dedicated available so depending on your requirement you choose which one you want to go for.

windows fully managed VPS are little costly.
But for 500 visitors you do not need a dedicated box.

Don't go DDS - DDS it's just another name for cloud servers . For 93$ you cold get a small dedi that would be 10x faster . The only question is how much management do you need ?

well All things I need for management is to get a contact point to solve it asap when a problem would happend to my server.
Actually no need full management though I'm very noob then I may ask manager help to set Some Applications or DB.

Get 2x more ram for the same price, check this website: http://webangel.ie/hosting/vps
    For example:
    RAM: 3072MB
    Bandwidth: 2400GB
    HDD: 120GB
    IP addresses: 4
    64eur/mo

I host there my websites more than 1 year, no reason to complaint.
