Help me New Blog

I have a static website, it is around 90 pages. I want to add a blog this website. I think it will be easier to add content to the site that way. I am just not sure of what would be the best way. Do I set up a blog through blogger or wordpress and just link to the blog from all pages of my website? I also want a nice blog template and was thinking I need to have someone create a custom template. I want my visitors to be able to add comments and I want to display adsense and possible a few products or 2. Any suggestions on how to implement a blog to my already existing site?

 

There are many ways you can link to it.

You can start a blog and host under the company you are hosting your website that will become easy.
Put in under your menu page with adress link yoursitename.com/blog and keep posting. content there.

If you wannna use Free blogspot hosting then you can use it and link your website pages inside it.Dnt feeel useful its waste.

You can redirect the visitors from your domain name to your blog containg all website content and freshly added content without losing your anything as page rank of your domain will also be maintained and all visitors of it will also come to your blog.

 

It is beneficial when u start a blog on your hosting package.

 

I am not really concered with page rank. I just want to be able to add new and fresh content and allow visitors to post comments and keep them coming back, and I want an easier way to add content without having to update several pages. Should I hire someone to create a custom wordpress theme? Will adding this blog help my site in the search engines?

 

Ya sure it will help You Best is host the blog on your hosting only for you.

If you're going for Wordpress, make it self-hosted. Blogs hosted at Wordpress.com cannot use plugins.

Also, are you moving your entire site to Wordpress? Or maybe you just want to add a blog to your existing site?

there are plugins like post sumary plugins,tags,social bookmarking and many more you will come acrosss while using.

 

I recommend you to use wordpress and Yes you can install it as a blog to your static site and can easily add more content to your site. Wordpress has huge number of plugins and attractive themes and support.
