help me.. my dvd player doesn't work and can't find the problem

As I said, my dvd player doesn't work. When I insert a cd or dvd, burned or not, explorer freezes and I can't access the dvd player's properties. When I open the disc, it immediatly opens the properties

I have search all the web, but I can't find it What could be the problem?

 

It's time to replace the DVD player.
I had the same problem before

oh, hmm, in that case, I'm not 100% sure. But it sounds just like a problem I had.

Are you sure it's connected and jumpered properly?

 

yes i reinstalled windows a few times, and each time the dvd player works for ~2 days and then it just quits (and it's not because i installed a particular program..)

 

Clean up the lens of ur player.

 

as u told that your DVD player is brand new than u must have some warranty period.so just call hardware people from where u bought it and tell him to replace.
there might be some probs in lens.
