Help me move my wordpress blog to new domain

    I want to transfer my blog which runs on wordpress blogging platform to a new domain. I searched in google and found some article on it.

    The problem is, they are very technical like .htaccess, 301 redirect etc

    I know nothing about them, I just want to transfer blog without losing visitors and search engine rankings

    Can anybody help me?? And please explain in simple step by step process

    are transferring just host or want to shift your blog to new domain ?
    in first case you won't lose any visitors or search engine rankings.
    in second case you need to use 301 redirect.

    Please clarify so i can list necessary steps to do it.
