I have a chance to generate more than 50 clicks per day with my site by making the ads look as if they aren't ads but shortcuts on the site .

This Made the looking worse but the earning increased 10x ... which to go for ? money or looks ?

If you are making the ads look like they are not ads then you may be violating adsense TOS, and risk getting your account banned. I would say that is not worth it...

Depends what kind of site it is. Are you passioned about its content? How serious are you?
If the answer is no, then go ahead and get the fully potential earning out of it.

Quality gets people to come back, but if you need to make money or want to make money you need ads too. So at least a good combination. Just don't go too crazy with ads. To me too many ads is just a total turn off.

Doing this is explicitly against the Adsense Program Policies. The real question to you is whether doing this is worth losing your Adsense account forever.

    Read the Program Policies:

If you can do this without pissing off the traffic too much, you should go ahead as there is a huge difference in earnings.
