Hi, I am looking for ideas on how to make money with this site. If you could give me your thoughts it would be greatly appreciated. http://navsense.com/ Thanks, GD
try adding those articles to some of the article directories and don't forget to put a link back to your site... Ahh, and place the site's url in your forums' signatures!!!
Good idea shuttle, thanks. I gusee what I am looking for is who or what would you use to make money with this site. Adbrite, google, etc? Thanks, Gary
Obviously you could throw some Adsense on there and weave ads through the content in a natural and unobtrusive way. Honestly, you could take just one of those niches, put up a single squeeze page devoted to that niche, compile those articles into a free report, e-book, or newsletter and start building an opt-in list. Give it away for free in exchange for an email and then market to your subscribers. Obviously that's a different business model than what you asked, but I'd say its a stronger and more efficient one. Lists are assets and you've got a LOT of good content that people would love to sign up for. Just my observations.
Make sure you're pinging sites like Digg and Reddit every time you update your site! This can bring in a lot of traffic if your articles are good
By pinging you mean commentating or resubmitting? I wonder, how would marketleverage ads work on a this site. Thanks, GD
a quick check on copyscape shows the articles aren't unique. SO you have a really REALLY R E A L L Y hard uphill struggle ahead of you if you intend to market this site. Sorry, but that's just how search engines work. If there's nothing unique on your site, why do you think google will favor YOUR copy of a duplicate article over ezineartcles or the original author's site???
Hello contentboss. Your answer reflects your name. I do not think Google will FAVOR me at all for repeat articles. The site is PR3 without advertising. I am looking for ideas on which company being Google, Yahoo, and which types or products would work best to make money for this site. Thanks, GD
The monetizing of the site should come on a later stage once you've accumulated some decent traffic. When your site is regarded as a credible source for information and is respected by the online communities you could start monetizing it. And here are boat loads of way so do that. You could try banner ads, adsense (I don't recommend it though), affiliate marketing and so forth...
I see you have a lot of links. Try link exchange. Or submit to directories related to your content, you tube videos. Or if you have starting budget try advertising with adwords. It will bring you targeted costumers.
That website made me want to leave, really, really fast. I have never seen a site with that many ads on each page. And every page I went to some video about bad valentines day sales started palying. Whats that about? You want to attract people to stay on the site, not drive them away. If you are going to have a video, at least have it somewhat related to the topic....
