Regular check delivery works well for me. Takes about 12-15 days from the date of issue.
But a verified account is what you need to use the account in the long run...

Why not verified it so that it will benefit you in a long run? If your problem is credit card then buy VCC out there and verify your account.

    You can withdraw you money
    if you have $150 minimum.

It takes about 15-20 days to
    get your check by post.

It will be a citibank cheque, so
better drop it in citibank or
    icicibank.

If you don't have a credit card
or cannot get one (if you are a
student etc) it is better to create
another account after the limit is
reached. You can even use your
parents' credit card or even a
    friend's to verify your acc.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    NC

Getting a CC shouldn't be very tough if you are >18. Unverified accounts have some restrictions, but you can manage with them for a certain period of time with the limit. Later, you do need to be verified.

Try getting a virtual/prepaid credit card to verify your account. Citibank India does issue a credit card "times Card" to persons over 12 years of age, this card is an addon on an adult parent or guardian's card.

The paypal check takes between 10 to 30 days to arrive. It's a very uncertain experience.

Consider alternative means of withdrawing the funds like loading it onto gCard.

Kaustubh I was too having a unverified account in paypal. But still I had withdrawals done.

Cheque's take time to come at your place may take 15 days to 45 days.. go ahead and request for them, nothing to worry about. :)

hmm actually i was trying to find options for instant delivery of money,
Cheque is good thing but 45 days are pretty big time. hmm it still okay..

Gcard cost around 84 for fedex and 59 for normal mail

i heard that Reserv Bank of India rules are there for online foreign thingi.. you need to inform about your buisness if you are having it online unless unbail jail i red on one indian forum. Please anyone has idea about it.. but i guess cheuqe is not problem for those who use companies like XOOM and all..

You'll be okay as long as it is not an intra-india transaction on paper. The sender must be in the US.

    I was referring to remit2india.com

You are ofcourse obligated to pay income tax on paypal & adsense cheques, they are not remittances.

You might take your dad's or mom's or elder bro/sis card and get it verified.
You can safely withdraw a cheque from paypal. But Getting it is a question, so far I have lost two of them manage to get only one refund :(.
