HELP me in fixing Duplicate Content

Hi,

I set 301 for post under multiple categories and now they are creating duplicate content issue in google, what i did is:

when user click on category www.yourdomain.com/categoryname he redirect towards my post page
www.yourdomain.com/2010/03/post-name

If i will set noindex for categories, will it fix duplicate content issue

 

Yes, noindex and nofollow to categories will solve it.
And, add canonical tag if possible.

 

will google index all posts under that category?

Yes, if you keep it like: noindex,follow

 

you can edit the robots.txt to not index one set of the duplicate content.
