I want to edit my wordpress theme! Till now i used to edit via theme editor in wordpress admin area. I'm getting lot of errors and again I'm installing fresh theme! When I need any small customization Im asking another people. Many People doing simple web design (in wordpress) for their blogs. Present days there are lot of tools available to designers to design a site which I don't know. I need web design for blog types (content type for adsense only). I'm interested to learn myself to a limit (only theme editing in wordpress - above beginner level). I have some idea about html tags etc., I'm not interested to be a designer as it is not my profession but interested to learn how to customize my theme, etc. Please share your experience in WordPress theme customization during your beginner level to suit your design needs and also please tell me any automated tools, videos and softwares to help me ?

i never looked for video tutorials for wordpress. but a quick search on youtube brings back a lot of tutorials. so I guess you just go there and see which one best fits your purpose
