4GB is a very big video file.
Is this uncompressed video? Or 1080p HD Video quality

YouTube's limit is 2GB, so I advise compressing into a .mp4 file. However remember that the bigger the video, the longer the user most wait for it to buffer.

Windows Movie Maker should be able to shrink the file size down. I've run into the same large file size issue due to HD videos.

Convert it to divx. That should help out a great deal.

If the video is longer than 10 minutes they won't accept it either. I'm kind of partial to hosting videos at Screencast.com

Try re-exporting as a .FLV which is online video standard. Flash video will compress the file automatically rendered for online viewing, what are you using to edit/export?

fine the best way that you can go for is ...either you can compressed and zip you file or you can use video converter software which are available free of cost......

Use WinAvi video converter. It is very fast and retains the quality. But it does not support MP4 format.

    Hi

You should use video convertor to convert video to small size.

I'm using a VideoCharge Studio for it. Soft supports a FLV/AVS video format, only you have to set less bitrate value.

Maximum Size: Upto 2 GB (2048 MB) in size.
Duration: Upto 10 minutes in length.

You can upload upto 10 videos at a time using bulk video uploader feature on Youtube.

I've encountered the same problem but not to the same extent. How did you get a vid to be 4GB?

Convert the video into FLV through SUPER converter and then you will have fairly small size video.
