Hi to anyone reading this and thanks for taking the time. I'm new to google adwords and i'm trying to promote through the clickbank market place using google adwords. I,m creating my hoplink through clickbank and entering ads and everything else through adwords. I,ve tried a couple of campaigns with no success one got alot of clicks but no money came my way. I'm not quite sure how to track as these are not my sites i'm promoting and the landing pages are there's i'm guessing. Sorry if all this sounds stupid as i'm a complete beginner and getting very disheartened. if anyone could take the time to point me in the right direction i would be very greatful. Thanks Again Douwie
the first thing is make sure you're not putting the hoplink in the "destination" space. i create a subdomain and a redirect with my web host so that the Adwords user searching for "purple widgets" will see something relevant like Purple-Widgets.WidgetSite.com as the URL for my ad. the clickbank forum has tons of information on redirects. and then this Adwords forum can help you with basic information about creating effective ads.
when using adwords is it a bright idea to use a separate page dedicated to ad words so that we can track if there are any sales coming from adwords..? and does adwords has a tracking system to find out the referring URL's where are the actual sale is generated from...? 1st month absolutely FREE hosting
Could say a little bit more how to do it safly? (to not to lose CB and CJ commisions - these two i am affiliated with)
I am going to try something similar and am now worried that I could lose money as well. I guess the competition is stiff and due to high click cost its very difficult to earn this way. you can always contact me with what worked and what didnt and i will share what worked for me
You probably will lose money, but you take that test and learn from it and keep testing until it works. It is a little like gambling when you are starting out. Just keep your daily budgets low, turn off the content ads and make sure your keywords are very targetted. If you are promoting something that costs money, use negative keywords like free and put the price in your ad to keep the lookie loos from wasting your money. Shoemoney has a good write up on his blog. The $10k experiment. or something.
First of all if you are using clickbank market place you must encript/ hide your affiliate links in some way - i.e. dont let people see your affiliate link anywhere like the status bar or the address bar, because if they do they will buy the product without you getting any credit. You can do this using a framed page with a blank top frame Second - when using any PPC company - make sure you keep your bids as low as possible to begin with - i.e. 5c. Also remember that you can advertise your text ad on the Google Adsense content sites for a much lower bid, than on the Google main search engine. So I would use this to get your advertising as cheap as possible However - eBooks are one of the worst performing sellers online. trying to sell eBooks is a pretty hopeless task unless you are selling your own eBook or resell rights ebooks - this is where you can upload an eBook onto your site, sell it and keep all the money Lastly, if you want to continue to try and sell things from clickbank, I would suggest your send people to a landing page on your site i.e. a special page where you say something like - for full information on ...eBook/clickbank product etc, please enter your name and email for more information. Obviously you will need more on the page than that, but get hold of peoples name and email and send them a series of email about the product into the future
yes i agree with grunt Whenever you create a campaign its better to create a page for that particular campaign the landing page should be correct for the users and as he said you can put your email id too so that you can keep in track and you can send your news about your new publications to them finally set a daily budget as low as possible that would be the wise idea
yes thanks for the tip. I will do exactly how you suggested. I think it better to have your own landing page then to just forward them to publisher/seller site and getting users input is important. Another question a little off topic, I want to get some autoresponder to do this. most out there are so expensive can you or anyone suggest a free one that I can use say for 2000 or so users and that doesnt have so many restrictions like some free ones do. you can point to other forum or any site.
Could you please tell which are in your opinion the best performing products online? What is "resell rights ebooks?" ( I am not English speaking ) Thanks, Franco
Resell right ebooks are ebooks that are made by someone who offers you license to resell their book and claim that it is yours. So you can sell it and keep 100% profits.
