I am absolutely terrible at writing anything. I dont know why but I just cant seem to be able to write review pages or opt in pages nice and smooth. I swear writing is an art form. Which i did not pay attention to in high school i regret it yes... Any tips would be much appreciated from you guys or maybie you could point to a nice little guide on writing an OK copy for selling or pre-selling. Thanks Alot!
it is not too later. you could still go back to school and major in english. it is only 3 years while you maintain internet marketing as a part time job. hope that helps.
You no need to write perfect articles.Just grammar is important. If you start writing articles then you can manage and you could be Expert writer.
Another great resource, and its free is going to http://www.copyblogger.com/ they teach you how to write a blog, but it can be applied to writing in general.
The best way to learn is to study other people's examples...if your getting started with article marketing for example and stuck as to how to write, then just simply browse some articles in the niche your interested in promoting and see how they write, and simply start writing. Each article you do write will make the next one easier and faster.
A lot of people suck when starting out with writing articles and reviews. The best way is to checkout reviews and articles from other competitors to get ideas, like mentioned above. More practice = More Sales, then eventually you'll find your own style. good luck!
When I started I wasn't able to write quick too. Nothing was smooth. I used to take almost 2hrs for writing a 500 word article. Now I can write 5 - 6 in the same time. It is practice. Don't waste time on going for classes. Get Andrew Hansen's Speed Content Writing, which is possibly the best guide that will teach you to churn out articles real fast. Good luck
Start by trying to read more and focus in on the writing style. Pick a topic you are interested in and read about it. You could order a newspaper and read sports columns, political, or whichever area you prefer to follow. After reading something interesting and in depth, find a message board or other web sites that allow you to post content and submit something in depth. Ask people who are good at writing to critique it. Also, be sure you know quite a bit about your topic before writing. It will be much easier to write about it. I agree that writing is an art form. If speed and quality is what you are after (for article marketing) that may be a skill within itself. But, in general you get better at writing by doing it alot and trying to always improve.
It's not really articles which I have trouble with. Im ok with writing to give the reader information. I completely choke when it comes to selling, but i guess practice makes perfect.
I'm currently reading a book titled: "The Adweek Copywriting Handbook: The Ultimate Guide to Writing Powerful Advertising and Marketing Copy from One of America's Top Copywriters" by Joseph Sugarman. It's all about the technique of writing words that sell.
Copy and reword the bullet points from the vendor you are trying to drive traffic to. Pretty soon you will develop a knack for "selling".
You need to read lots of articles to get the feel of how they should look and sound. Take note of the ones you like and why and like wise the ones you feel are bad. Before long you will develop your own style and all writting will be a breeze.
