Im getting married in may. Shes breaking my b@ll$ every day about the groomsmen gifts. I need ideas! I dont want to go with the regular stuff like wallets, money clips and things like that. I know Ive never used anything Ive gotten. Looking to spend $100 TOPS each guy HELP!
Okay, I read this wrong when I first read it: "help me get my girl off" What do your groomsmen like to do? I thought it was kind of cool when my brother got all of his groomsmen, including me, camping chairs. We all enjoy the outdoors and it was a fairly inexpensive gift but was something unusual anyhow.
They are all different. Guy #1 is into boating, hunting, drinking, drinking and drinking. Guy #2 is into racing quads and drinking once in a while when hes allowed out.. Guy #3 is into smoking tons of weed, racing his bike, occasional drinker. Guy #4 is into playing the drums, and video games. Guy #5 is into a little of everything. Guy #6 is into playing bass, riding harleys, drinker.
My boyfriend got an engraved beer mug that was meant to be put in the freezer from his best friend's wedding. All of the guys were big drinkers and they were REALLY nice mugs, think and tall, each with their name etched in it.....
I have the same exact problem. It was so weird reading this and seeing my life reflected. I'm don't want to spend $100 per, though.
I really dont either, but I been thinking what its going to cost them to be in the wedding. Tux rentals, hair cuts, gifts, bachelor party.. Got to give them something for it.. Its probably going to cost them $4-500 each, if not more..
I was at a wedding (actually 2) last year, and what one of the grooms did was give his brother (who was the best man) ownership of a portion of land in Scotland (where we all live) because his brother was going to go live in England soon. That portion of land made him a barron or something . I thought it was a pretty cool idea. But what i'm trying to say is if your not wanting to get generic stuff like wallets and things then you'd have to look at what they are like as individuals, and have a different present each depending on what they are like.
How about giving your guy friends ticket to a concert of a fave music group or artist? or a paid membership to an exclusive sports club? Then maybe what you need is a housemaid. Congratulations! It's not easy to get married these days...But one must have the balls to break through the barricades and disprove the cynics. I hope you'll both make it till next year. Kidding.
