Dear Friends, I have bought few of domains of which one of them is www.sms-jokes.info I want to start a SMS JOKES site on this domain, But i have no idea about designing the site. I have previously used only PHPLD (Web Directory Script) & WP(Word Press Blog).. So I guess there is no ready made material for this kind of site.. So what should i do ??? where can i get the interface for this ??? I can get content & add it... so where can i get the script or design for the site ??? or how can i create one ??? I guess our friend Aditya had one jokes site too. Which he had custom designed. You can contact him. Also try the templates section... make a thread: "Wanna buy jokes template" Btw whats gonna be your CMS for the site?
I think i m gonna use wp only... as I dont have high budget.. that is why i bought .info domain & i have some mktg stratergies... if they work out then i can invest more...(invest the returns from the site) Yeah Aditya had but he is very busy now... he has got a lot of assignments... so i dont want to disturb him... I have bugged him a lot of time & he has answered & taught me very patiently.. & now as i know he is very busy.... i dont want to bugg him more & i want this site to start very quickly.... & i m very much excited for this... as i have some plans for which i want to experiment... lol
Why not use Pligg to create a voting styles joke site. You can add your own categories and promote the best to the front. I would use a CMS however Drupal or Joomla where people could always submit content too.
Where can i find this Pligg ?? and how to install it ??? will it be compatiable with WP ?? i m a newbie in designing and creating so please guide me regarding this.. Yeah i m using WP only now...
