Help me for choosing keywords

    Recently I have opened a new forum using SMF forum model. Now I need to make my forum popular. So need keywords to start SEO.

    i think you have to complete the meta keywords 1st. because if Google crawl your site before doing that then it will take time to crawl again. so its better to do keyword research 1st.
    for doing this you have to find the best keywords. and a very popular way is to see the competitor's site. from there you can get huge suggestion.

    Agree with previous posters!
    More experienced competitors should become the source of keywords. Go to semrush and peep some interesting long-tails from sites with which you're competing.

    You can use "Google AdWords: Keyword Tool" and filter the keywords which you want to use.

    Use the Google Adwords Keyword Tool, which is free but it is better to have an Adwords account first (also free). This allows you to refine your keyword searches and to download your selections to your website. You can then use an Excel spreadsheet to sort the data easily.
